Since April 2013, I have been blogging continuously for 116 months consecutively at least one blog post per month. And that’s around 183 blog posts in total. I have been doing this religiously despite difficulties and challenges. I even vividly remember writing and publishing one on the day of my wedding reception. But that long streak ends here.
One of the main reasons for this decision is that, At times, I find myself churning up some content just for the sake of publishing one for that month and not enjoying the writing process. If you know me personally, I totally hate to do things for namesake. At times, I get hit by writer’s block and have nothing much on my head to write about, and it becomes quite stressful. And, most of all, no one reads my blog posts these days (except a very few).
It doesn’t mean I am going to discontinue blogging forever. It’s something I love. So, will definitely write one when I really feel like writing one and have something exciting to share. And, just that it’s not going to be as frequent as before.
